Michael Jamieson
President & CEO
Michael brings more than 20 years of hospitality and operational leadership experience to Staff Portal, much of it spent leading large, diverse teams in fast-paced, people-focused environments. His experience managing teams with different roles, backgrounds, languages, levels of experience and training needs helped shape the thinking behind Staff Portal. The challenge was never simply how to deliver more information. It was how to make important information, training and company resources clear, practical and genuinely useful to the people who need them. That experience is at the heart of the platform today. Michael leads Staff Portal’s product direction and client partnerships, combining deep frontline operational knowledge with a working command of software, data and digital systems. While Staff Portal was born from the needs of hospitality, its focus is much broader: helping organizations better train, inform, engage and support large teams of people. Michael also holds Level 3 security clearance within Ontario’s public-safety and law-enforcement sector, experience that has further shaped his approach to privacy, security and the responsible handling of organizational and employee data.
Stephen Jamieson
Director of Product & Operations
Stephen brings experience across product strategy, business operations, customer experience, and the development and commercialization of technology products. His work includes taking software products from early concept through development, launch, and customer adoption, with a particular focus on turning complex technology into practical, dependable solutions for end users. Stephen holds level 3 security clearance within Ontario’s public-safety and law-enforcement sector, giving him firsthand familiarity with the operational, security, and trust requirements involved in supporting sensitive organizations. At Staff Portal, Stephen supports product direction, customer experience, operational planning, and commercial strategy, helping ensure the company can deliver both a reliable product and responsive support as it grows.
